The Gujarat Police’s Twitter account was hacked on Monday and named after Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Sanghavi tweeted, “This is to inform everyone that the official handle (Twitter) of Gujarat Police has been hacked. Please do not respond to messages or any information they share until further notice.

The culprits changed the name of Gujarat Police’s Twitter handle to Elon Musk and changed the visual image to a spaceship.
Account has now been restored.
Meanwhile, the Twitter accounts Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA), Indian Medical Association (IMA) and Man Deshi Mahila Bank (a micro-finance bank) were similarly hacked in January this year. The alleged hackers renamed the handle to ‘Elon Musk’.
Personal Prime Minister Modi’s Twitter handle It was briefly hacked in December last year. When the account was restored shortly after, the tweet promoting the cryptocurrency had already been shared from the handle and later deleted.
