The Conservative Party will announce a replacement for British Prime Minister Boris Johnson on September 5 following a vote among party members under rules agreed by party officials on Monday.

The Conservative Party said there would be a postal ballot of party members between the two candidates chosen under a fast-track process to field from the 11 candidates it has announced so far.
