Karan Johar Teases Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s Koffee With Karan Debut, Calls Her Episode With Akshay Kumar ‘Riot’

The new season of Koffee With Karan is just an old episode but it is definitely creating a buzz in B-town. From Ranveer Singh’s now famous mimicry Bollywood Stars for the hype around Sarah Ali Khan And featuring Janhvi Kapoor on the couch, the show is already a favorite among all Indian talk shows. Now, filmmaker-host Samantha Ruth Prabhu has teased the episode.

Samantha will make her debut this year with Koffee With Karan. News18.com first reported that the Manjili star will appear on the show Akshay Kumar beside her. In a recent interview, Karan hyped the episode. He teased that the episode would be a ‘riot’.

Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Karan talked about how he gets things from people like Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar when he mentions Samantha. “You know Ajay Devgan is a very serious, private and quiet person, but he says a word and it makes an impact. You have to make sure that the conversation gives him that ability and strength. Because if he says one line, that line becomes a trending line. He is a very well spoken person. Akshay is very funny. Comes alive with a guest next door. We have Akshay with his wife Tina. It’s a riot. We had him with Ranveer Singh, it was a riot. And believe me, his episode with Samantha was another riot,” he said.

The Koffee With Karan 7 trailer reveals that she talks about ‘happy marriages’. In the trailer, Samantha is seen poking fun at Karan Johar and blaming him for ‘unhappy marriages’. “You are the reason for happy marriages. You portray life as K3G when the reality is KGF,” she told Karan. The host was clearly embarrassed by this statement.
