In the first ODI between India and South Africa, a new-look Shikhar Dhawan-led side lost to Tempa Bauma’s South Africa by just 9 runs in Lucknow. Heinrich Klaasen and David Miller scored unbeaten 74 and 75 respectively to take South Africa to a total of 249/4.
