Heavy rain and thundershowers lashed parts of Delhi-NCR on Tuesday morning, giving respite from the humid and hot weather.

Apart from this, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rains in many parts of Uttar Pradesh and Haryana in the next two hours.

Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange warning for heavy rain during the day as rain continues to lash Mumbai and its surrounding areas.

Amid heavy rain, Central and Western local trains were unaffected by rain and operated as normal on all routes.

Rainfall in Uttarakhand

The Meteorological Department has announced that many districts including Dehradun, Pauri, Sambhat, Nainital, Udham Singh will receive heavy rain during the day.

During the last 24 hours, Kedarnath, Haldwani, Pithoragarh, Lansdowne, Didihat, Kichha and Satbuli and Dehradun received very heavy rainfall.
