“As it rained for almost an hour, the water is stagnant, making it difficult for us to move. Things will get worse when the monsoon comes in full flow,” a motorcyclist told India Today.

Many people have expressed anguish that despite knowing that heavy rains will fall, the administration did not take sufficient measures to prevent waterlogging.

“Management has done little to ensure that people’s lives are not made worse by heavy rains,” another traveler told India Today.
