At a Dussehra event in Haryana’s Yamunanagar on Wednesday, six people were injured when an almost burnt effigy of Ravana fell on the audience. No casualties have been reported so far.

A video of the Ravana statue collapsing on spectators shows parts of it still burning when the incident happened. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital and are said to be in stable condition.
Dussehra is a celebration of good over evil, symbolizing Rama’s victory over Ravana. The celebration also includes burning effigies of Ravana throughout the country.
